About Celebration Kids

At Celebration Church, we’re passionate about partnering with parents to help kids build a strong spiritual foundation. We believe every child should know, without a doubt, that Jesus loves them! That’s why we’ve created a fun, interactive, and age-appropriate environment where kids can learn about Jesus and the Bible through exciting worship, hands-on activities, and meaningful lessons.

From infancy all the way through 5th grade, our classes are designed with your child’s age and grade in mind, offering Bible-centered programming in a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.

And the best part? Our Kids services are happening in person at all of our locations. We can’t wait to see your little ones grow in their faith and have a blast while doing so!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • When is Kids Ministry Available?

All services at our Georgetown, Central Austin, and Leander locations offer Celebration Kids.

Special Needs is offered at select Georgetown services.

  • What is the process for checking in my kids?

We offer two types of check-ins for your convenience: self-check-in and a manned station.

Once you are in our system, you may begin using the self-check-in option by simply entering your phone number. Your first time at check-in will involve meeting face-to-face with our team who will fill out basic information about you and your children.

  • What safety and security procedures are in place for my kids?

Safety is our number one priority in Celebration Kids. First and foremost, no one is allowed to enter the KiDS space without a printed security tag. Each security tag has a unique alphanumeric code. Both your child and the parent/guardian receive a matching security tag upon check-in.

Once your child enters into a Celebration Kids classroom, they will only be allowed to leave with the person in possession of their matching security tag.

  • If my child is nervous, can I stay with them?

Unfortunately, for the safety of all our children, we don’t allow anyone who has not gone through our in-depth onboarding process into the classrooms.

  • How do you get a hold of me if my child needs me?

If we need to get ahold of you for any reason, we will send you a text or communicate with you by placing your child’s security tag code on the screen in the main auditorium.

  • Have the workers caring for my children received a background checked?

All Dream Team members 18 or older must have a background check and child abuse awareness training before serving on the Celebration Kids team.

  • What do I need to drop off with my children?

Your child is not required to bring anything to come into Celebration Kids.

However, most parents of younger babies bring a diaper bag with a bottle for their growing baby. If you are worried about your preschooler getting hungry, we’ve got them covered with snack time, including everyone’s favorite, Veggie Straws.

For elementary-aged kids, it’s a great idea to have them bring their Bible to earn Celebration Kids Tickets that they can later redeem for prizes.

  • What if my child has allergies?

While filling out your child’s information for the first time, we will ask if your child has any medical or behavioral concerns that we should be aware of.

These will appear on your child’s printed security tag so our team members are aware. For everyone’s safety, the Celebration

Kids' space is a peanut-aware environment.

  • What is your sick child policy?

We ask that if your child shows signs of illness or has had a fever within the last 24 hours, you not bring them to church. If they are placed into our care and become ill after arrival, we will contact you to come and pick them up.

All-Stars

Celebration Kids All-Stars is for 2nd-5th graders who want to grow closer to Jesus, discover and develop their gifts, and learn how to be leaders at home, school, and amongst peers.

This isn’t just another class—it’s a fun, hands-on way to grow in faith, connect with others, and get involved in making a difference! All-Stars meet on Wednesday nights during the fall and spring semesters.

Baptism

If your child is ready to be baptized, we’re thrilled to walk alongside your family in this exciting season! Baptism is a powerful declaration of faith, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

At Celebration, we baptize children ages 7 and older who have made a personal decision to follow Jesus and are ready to take this important step in their faith.

To help you discern if your child is ready, we’ve created a simple visual guide: “Is My Child Ready to Be Baptized?” This resource will walk you through important conversations and signs of readiness.

If, after reading the guide, you feel your child is ready, the next step is to:

  1. Watch the  Kids Baptism Video together.
  2. Complete the Kids Baptism Interest Form linked below.

Once the form is submitted, someone from our Kids Team will connect with you to talk more about your child’s journey and schedule their baptism.

We are celebrating with you and can’t wait to see what God does in and through your child!

Special Needs

At Celebration Church, we’re committed to making sure every child feels welcome and supported. That’s why at our Georgetown location, we offer a Special Needs classroom during select services. This class is a safe and calm space for kids up to age 17 who might feel overwhelmed in larger classrooms. In this environment, they can enjoy the service at their own pace, connect with others, and engage with the Bible story in a way that’s meaningful to them. Capacity is limited and offered on a first-come, first-serve basis, so we encourage families to arrive early. Our Special Needs class is all about meeting kids where they’re at and helping them experience God’s love in a way that’s comfortable and fun!

Parent Child Dedications

At Celebration Church, we believe that children are a gift from God. Parent Child Dedications are a special time for our Pastors and members to pray over your child and you as parents as you commit to raise their child in a God centered home based on God’s Word and God’s Ways.
Parents are charged with the following responsibilities:
• To recognize your child is a gift from God.
• To create an environment within your home that brings life and demonstrates the Fruit of the Spirit of Christ.
• To connect your family to the local church so you flourish in God and in relationship with others.

We dedicate children 5-years-old and younger who are being raised by a single mom/dad or parents married under the Biblical New Testament covenant of marriage. The first step towards your Parent Child Dedication is to attend a Parent Child Dedication Orientation:

Parent Child Dedication Orientation is an important step in the dedication process. This is a special opportunity to connect with other parents, learn more about the significance of the dedication, and hear details about what to expect on the day of your child’s dedication.
During orientation, we'll walk you through the next steps, help you register for an upcoming dedication service, and ensure you feel prepared for this meaningful milestone in your child’s spiritual journey.
Next Steps:
• Choose your campus and register for the next Parent-Child Dedication Orientation.
• Please note: Orientation registration does not automatically register you for the dedication service. You must attend orientation to complete the dedication registration.
We look forward to walking alongside you in this important moment and praying over your child as you dedicate them to God's care and guidance.
